Broken fuel level sending unit?

Did the PPRV delete today, before dropping everything back into the tank I noticed the "big" electron board I believe its called, just kinda floating around inside the plastic housing. The "small" one on the end of the yellow wire is still intact and looks like its in the right spot.

So question is, is this thing broken or can I manipulate the internal parts back into place? I'd hate to have to replace it if its salvageable, from what I hear they're big money...

You can buy the whole sending unit from Motocraft, the PN is on it. It costs about 75 bucks. If you try and manipulate it back together it will not work. If the board is broken or split you lose the ground and it will not work. I did the same thing. There are actually some on EBAY by Rockauto. You cannot buy it from Ford.
