I recently purchased aset of brembo drill/slotted rotors(they were machined after the fact) bought from ebay id (sportbrakescom) and I have a violent shaking so I took them right off.
I called them and they said it was the zinc coating and that it would do it for at least 100 to 200 miles, till it burned off...?? :bs: ??
Does this sound like some bs to have me keep them or...??
Whaddya think.
LMK

I have heard you're supposed to wash the rotors before you put them on. They have an anti-corrosion "film" or something on them that prevents them from rusting over in shipping. But that should still be scuffed off within a few stops anyway.

Slotted Brembo rotors with the 'R" kit - no problems. Gradual stops starting at ~30, allow to cool by driving a mile - then some harder stops ~70->0 to burn off the plating and coat the rotors with pad material.
