Which pad is everyone using? I've had enough of my squeaking and squealing stock pads and want to replace them with a set that is comparable but without the annoying squeaks. From the research i've done i'm leaning towards the Hawk HPS. Opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I purchased Hawk HPS for the front from topbrakes.com; with shipping they totaled $130; have yet to put them on, but I can tell you they are heavy as hell and look well made.

I put HPS pads on the front brakes (brembo) and, as far as street driving is concerned, I'm happy with them. They're quiet and grab very well.

I will say this though: I actually put these pads on while at an open track event (because I happened to have them on hand) to replace my used-up factory brembo pads and boy, that didn't go so well. After a few laps I cooked the pads and the brakes barely slowed the car - point being: these are 100% street pads! They can't handle consistent heat! Of course that's what Hawk's many other pads are for. :D
