- Purchased the '14 Shelby GT500 on 20th July with 68 miles on the odometer.

- Dyno'ed 26th July with 500 miles on the odometer, netted 609 rwhp corrected - Mustang Dyno

- Raced at Pacific Raceways on 27th July with a best time of 12.02 @ 125 all stock and about 560 miles on the odometer.

609 at the wheels on a Mustang DYno? Wow. I thought they usually spit out lower numbers. 609 is great for this time of year. Congrats.

I'd be interested if these things truly "loosened" up. If, after 5000miles or so, you put her on the dyno again with no modifications from the last time - would you get the same numbers?

Very nice, I beat you by a day to the track :)
You know what they way about dynos....
BUT, you're trap speed is best indicator and is healthy, mine was also 125+.
How was the strip launching? 60'?
These are tricky to launch on street tires.

Nice! Mine made the same exact number on a mustang dyno and I ran a recent 12.16 on a 2.0 60ft I trapped 124 down here in this GA heat

Do I spy Michelin Pilot tires? Nice choice?
What sizes did you go with?
I don't remember anymore mentioning how those work at the strip.

That you do. I had just purchased them for my 2011 GT500 about a month and some change prior to trading the car in :bash:

So part of the deal when purchasing the 2014 was to swap out the craptastic Goodyear's for my Michelin PSS. Sizes are just the stock sizes

On the street the tires are awesome, at the track... hard to say haha! After some more seat time with the '14 and I figure out the LC and track applications , I will be able to give more feedback.

Yep, badass tires, I drive on them DD in my AMG, couldn't be happier but going with DRs on the GT500.
