What size is filter, where it attaches to the Air Intake? Example 4/5/6 Inches?

Not sure the actual filter size, I sealed up the box after taking that pic. Almost all of their CAI's use the same filter, so I am going to guess 4" opening, but I may be wrong.

According to Steeda, its because they saw no benefit to making it bigger, and lost low end when the intake was bigger...Take it for what its worth obviously as its coming from the manufacturer...

Interesting read and for the car they're testing it on the article is true. They used a mustang in the ~400whp range, just like on a Shelby with a stock blower isn't pushing big numbers. Oddly enough ~600whp or less I've seen cars dyno less with the bigger intake. The thing is 10+ cars usually swap the intake when they do a bigger blower and push 650+, that's where the bigger intake shines. These steeda one's would be a nice upgrade on a pulley/tune car.
