Brake pads

For you guys that have already run your 00 R's at open track events, what brake pads have you been using.

I think I am going to RA with Carbon Kevlar pads from Porterfield brakes.

Andy Porterfield knows RA and suggested these. They are easy on rotors, don't need alot of heat but will take high heat and are high torque.

Your thoughts?

i continue to use the galphers that came with the car. alot of folks have gone to hawk blues. blues are very hard on rotors. my experience is that the galphers do just as well under same conditions.

have never heard of the ones you mentioned.

I have Hawk Blues front and rear, and have a set of porterfields that I will be bringing to RA. If I go through the blues, i will change over and let you know the difference.
