brake pads? or rotors?

damn near everytime ive ever heard a "grind" its been pads first.
so thats where my vote will stay :)

Are there deep scratches in the rotors? Also, when you brake, does the truck "surge"? Chances are you may only need pads or possibly you may need to have the rotors re-surfaced.

No matter what at the least have the rotors turned. If they are thin buy new ones. Remember you'll also need grease for re-packing the bearings, seals, & cotter pins.
