brakes are slightly griding just staterd..would i b able to just slap pads on em ?
brake pads? or rotors?

How many miles do you have on the brakes?
Normally you change the pads more times than the rotors.
damn near everytime ive ever heard a "grind" its been pads first.

Are there deep scratches in the rotors? Also, when you brake, does the truck "surge"? Chances are you may only need pads or possibly you may need to have the rotors re-surfaced.
No matter what at the least have the rotors turned. If they are thin buy new ones. Remember you'll also need grease for re-packing the bearings, seals, & cotter pins.
