Brake Issues

Anyone had any brake issues?

Lately, I have noticed that right before I come to a stop under normal braking conditions that I hear a metal rubbing type noise coming from the front driver side wheel area. The car is a 2011 premium non-brembo brake car that has about 47,000 miles on it. The car was in the shop a few weeks ago for work on the MT82 and they said the brakes (the pads at least) looked good. It seems to happen about every other day and like I said earlier, it right before the car comes to a stop. Any ideas?

If you watch the video above and listen after he turns on the turn signal my car is doing almost the exact same thing. I just checked the driver side front area again today and the pads look fine and the rotor looks fine (no grooves). Any ideas?

very common.. a lot of people have had this complaint about the stock pads and rotors. new pads and rotors usually fix the issue.

Thanks for the response. If I just deal with the noise until the pads wear out there is no damage being done, correct?
