I recently got my calipers painted and after picking her up I noticed the brakes weren't as responsive. I waited about a week and still a little mushy. I scanned over a thread a while back about something like this... is there something special that needs to be done?

Sounds like you need to bleed the brakes. A mushy pedal usually means there is air in the system.
Bled the brakes and no luck... :-/ What do you think it could be?
I would also guess air in the system... In what sequence did you bleed the brakes?
Did they remove the brake lines from the calipers when they painted them? If they were disconnected for awhile then there's a chance air made it into the ABS module.
of that paint has gotten into those ports and has caused a clog
