bought cowl hood off Ebay quick Question

So I bought this hood from a local guy who I found on ebay it cost me 150 bucks and seems to fit okay but my question is the back of the hood suppose to look like that I thought it would be open. Thanks guys. I am getting that and the cobra spoiler and trunk painted next weelk unless my body guy says the hood is junk.

usually looks like that to prevent rain from getting in too much...you could always cut it, but it might weaken the structural integrity of the hood.

LOL No I will not be putting cobra badges on it. I just really like the looks of the 03-04 cobras with cowl hoods, and I cant afford a real cobra plus I bought this car brand new and it is almost payed off so then it will really be fun. I got rid of the shaker cause it was kinda stopping me from doing the rest of the performance mods.

Speaking of Cobra badges, one guy recommended I put them on my car. He said they would really "set my car off".

btw that hood looks nice. $150 for that sure is cheap.
