Boss Trackey Availability

Here's the email I got yesterday from Ford Racing concerning the TracKey:

Dear Boss Mustang Enthusiast -

Thank you for your interest in our new TracKey technology.

Ford Racing and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) have been working closely to ensure that TracKey achieves certification as quickly as possible.

We are happy to report that the testing is completed and Ford Racing will announce the availability of TracKey at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas on Nov. 2.

We recognize that there is great anticipation for this exciting product and wanted to share this news with you ahead of the SEMA show.

So how do we get this and all the specs on how to operate the features?

Will the track key work with a CAI?

From what I understand, once Ford announces the software program is available to be loaded into your Boss, you'll go to a local dealer, hand over $302 and all the features loaded into the Boss will be activated by inserting the Red Key. If you have done any aftermarket mods, all I can say is good luck with that.

iv been thinking about that and i agree...how can u tune mods with track key...since its a dual path pcm can u use a hand held ...like tune it on the black key or sumthing..
