Boss or GT350 alt?

So I need a new alternator and was looking at my friends GT350 and it has a nice looking alt on it. I was gonna order the boss but.
Is it the same as the boss?
Does anyone know the amps of each?

Appears the GT350 uses the same alternator as the 5.0, a 200amp unit used with heated seats, 175 with non-heated.

But is that the same one as the 2011-2014 5.0? Because those like to fry when you start revving over 7k

5.2 has a different pulley and idler for sure. Now if it's the same as a boss IDK.

Yes I would presume the GT350 has a larger under drive pulley also.

According to this C&D article the alternator itself is the same.

Got the boss kit and very happy.

I just put a Boss unit on my car too. Voltage started dropping to 12.5 @ 5600 or so at 7500.
