Just a bit. Haha. I'm excited because I picked up a new 5.0 on Saturday and I'm gonna go N/A with it and do H/C/I/Full Exhaust. These motors are nasty.

416rwhp @ 7,550rpm, 355rwtq @ 5,250rpm
If you assume even just a 12% loss to the wheels, you're looking at 470-480 @ the crank.

Do you think thats getting the most out of the engine? I am assuming that its tuned pretty well. Looks like similar numbers to a GT with a tune.
I doubt that the Boss motor is maxed out. It's basically a detuned 302R motor. I'm thinking that they ran that without the TracKey. You can probably expect more power from the TracKey, and more area under the curve.
I'm thinking a full exhaust, intake, and either TracKey or tuned Boss 302 sees upwards of 460+ wheel horsepower, and I think that's a lowball estimate.

Why would they test it without the track key? That makes no sense.
Changes engine parameters offering better throttle response and more badassery.

As delivered the cars don't come with the Track Key, that's probably why.

Its an option but may be standard on the LS.
You purchase the track key from the dealer and the get it coded for the car.

That is what I was thinking, standard on the LS model and an option for the regular Boss. I don't think they would sell a purpose built street/track car and not make this standard.
