can a 1991 5.0 handle 9 lbs of boost without a problem. i'm just worried that the block or the internals couldnt handle it. its a stock 302. i dont really wanna bore it out to a 306 so i was just wondering.

i have always heard on 5.0's that the block was the first thing to fail (at about 500rwhp) not the internals. does that hold true on the 93's? since ford dropped the forged pistons after 92.

You will not see 450-475 with just 9psi, unless you have HCI already. A stock 5.0 with little to no mods will see o/a 330-350 with that amount of boost.

its gonna have trick flow twisted wedge heads, e303 cam, gt40 upper lower intake and bigger throttle body and mass air and all that other good stuff. i was just wondering if 450-475 is a nice number to aim for with the stock block
