Sorry to wake up a long dead thread but i was actually curious to see if anybody had in fact installed a BOV vented to atmosphere on their eaton setups when i came across this thread. But anyways if you guys are really deadset on installing a BOV and keeping the real nice wine of say a Stage 8 ported eaton running high boost w/o overspinning the blower then you guys need to go compound boost. Plus then youll get the cool ass turbo spool sound, have ridiculous torque and power curves, tons of flexibility with power due to in vehicle boost controlability on the fly and other ways to control power and boost, lots of BOV options. Hellion Turbo Systems makes a sick twin turbo kit to work in conjuction with the eatons on the cobras as im sure some of you know but not everbody has the 5 to 7 gs to shell out for the different variants of the kit. But the compound boost cobras sound sooo sick and are capable of sooo much power with supporting mods of course. "This will decimate all, after, you put about fifteen grand in it, or more." Thats what im gettin rdy to do to my 01 t56 stage 8 ported eaton triple black vert with no roll bar lol. If i could just save up the damn money and stop spending most of it on my eaton m90 boosted explorer 2dr (soon to be boosted by my 2nd m112 for cobras and swap in a 5 speed stick from a ranger and retain 4wd[stick XPLR 2DR w/4wd xtremely rare from factory])
