To make a long story short i purchased a 200amp alternator from these people firtst one failed they warrantied t now second one broke a shaft 20 miles of run time now they wont warranty it because its abuse!!! Wtf what kind of crap is that.....who buys a cobra to baby nobody thats what these cars are meant for ! Cheap china alternators never again ../...i got robbed of 160 $ no alternator no refund....

Yeah I made the same mistake just purchased a 200amp alternator from Tuff Stuff .
Been telling people not to buy Ebay units with cute names from the moment I saw the amperage chart reading 40a at idle and didn't reach full amperage till redline, now here comes all the belly aching. Conversely my Mechman reads 167a.
How do you measure amperage at redline and where can I find these amperage chart readings?
This right here do not buy those eBay specials. Nations builds a strong alternator.
No idea, just going by the chart I saw in an Ebay alternator thread supplied with the paperweight.
