BMR Relocation brackets

I want to install the BMR relocation brackets for the rear axle, some sites say they can be bolted in. Some say it must be welded in for drag race use and some say weld if lower then 1.5 sixty foot time. Any thoughts? Im a drag racer but don't want to weld them on and my sixty foot times are low 1.7's. Anyone just bolt them on and have good luck?

They should always be welded in place. Period. Do it right the first time.

I bolted mine in and never had any problems and pulled 1.6 60's all day. I did want to weld them in for safety tho.

Kelly over at BMR says they can be bolted due to their design, He will stand behind them.

ive got bbr (bmr helped design them ) mine are just bolted and i have no problems
