So in the end, no real solution? Bassani, American racing, kooks ect... all better choices here. So in the end it looks like a MM piece for me. I run bassani and the only other brand I will switch to would be american racing. Hey, I tried.
Wow! This K member is looking more and more like a complete dud. Not only did they design it around headers that are no longer available but people are having issues with the factory exhaust manifolds.
I genuinely feel sorry for all you guys who decided to jump on this piece so quickly.
Hopefully BMR pulls their heads out of their asses on this one before nobody buys them and the piece is discontinued all together.

*UPDATE*
Received the new piece last night and was installed in less than 15mins without fighting any of the 8 bolts to either part of the frame. NOT LYING!!! I still installed in a crisscross pattern but this time it went in without any struggling. Even the motor mount studs and alignment tabs went in no problem. BMR did their job and ensured and most importantly fulfilled their promise in getting this piece right for our year/model cars/engine!

Thanks for the report.I finally got mine on too, and I'm now running BBK Longtubes. I did have clearance issues with the passenger side in one spot, and this was because of the spring perches. If they weren't there I don't think I would have had this problem. To fix this I slightly trimmed one piece off of the spring perch plate, as well as dent my header, which some of you may not want
Also, make sure if you do get this with the A-arm brace to put the bolts in the correct orientation. They cleared until a load was put on the car then they grinded against the A-arm. A tubular arm wouldn't have this problem, but the OEM ones do.
I was also unable to square the K-member. I had no room for adjustment, as once it was in, it just couldn't move at all. I've talked to a guy with a 2v, and he was able to move it, but idk why me having a 4v would make a difference, even when the header didn't hit. He was also able to clear with longtubes on his 2v with no clearance issues.
I got premium k member on 5/19 after ordering it on 4/15. I saw this thread and figured the issues were sorted. Before I started on the car I had it up on blocks and made sure the chassis and suspension was square. Chassis was dead on. The factory k member was less than a 1/16 out from the rear axle.
The k member bolted right in during the test fit. There is basically no adjustment from side to side after it's bolted in. The rear mounting slots are all the way maxed out. The factory engine mounts sat at a different angle than mounting plates on the k member. Thought they may be bad so I ordered a set of solid mounts. The solid mounts fit almost exactly the same as the factory ones. They are able to be torqued down to remove the gap, but I'm pretty sure it's bending the k member mounting pads to the mounts.
Trying to fit bmrs coil over control arms on the front the top holes are not able to be used. The bushings hit the welds before the a arm is high enough to bolt in. This is on both bushings. The rear bushing mount can't accept a nylock nut or a flange headed factory bolt in the top set of holes. The cutout to clearance the bolt head or nut is too small.
The steering rack mounts says it accepts factory rack bushings. I have poly bushings on my rack that have been on the car for years. The rack is digging into the powder coat only halfway on. I'm not sure if I even want to try and get it all the way up as I might never be able to get it back off.
On a good note. eBay headers clear everything k member related on a 2v. I can post pictures if anyone wants to see anything.
