Blower Belt Tensioners

Are aftermarket Blower Belt tensioners only used when you put a smaller pulley on the blower and run more boost ??

a tensioner came in the box of eaton parts that I bought, but I plan on running a stock pulley and stock boost. Should I leave this blower tensioner off ? or put it on anyway ?

An aftermarket tensioner is really only needed if you're running a smaller than stock blower pulley. There's plenty of grip otherwise.
