NEW PICS ADDED LATER IN THREAD AFTER WASHING CAR

Just installed them today, nor sure if I like them better than stock?
Car is dirty and it is cloudy, but you get the idea.
What do you think?

I think i like the look of the stock ones better...

Maybe it's the pictures or conditions but the others just kind of "disappear" and have no presence...

They're pretty dark but I like them, I run those exact sets of wheels in winter/summer. Stockers in the winter and charcoal amr in summer, those amr wheels are about 5 pounds lighter each than stock too.

IMHO, something looks off. I'm not sure what it is about the new rims but I'm just not a huge fan. They aren't ugly but for some reason it just doesn't resonate with me visually.

Just my 2 cents.

I am going to wash the car and take pictures in better light, but I am not sure about them

I bought them because of the lighter weight and the fact that I could put 295/35/19s on the 19x10 rear, but I am not sure if the look good

I feel the same way

I put the stock rims on my son's car and they look great, even dirty as heck

I like the black and red theme but I can't really see what the wheels look like. I powder coated my race stars gloss black and I get the same effect. I like the black but can't see a shape.

I prefer the stock wheels but the new ones look good too. You can always swap with your son again. I'm SURE he'd like the new ones.

The charcoal lets you see more definition in the rim

Also I went with the 18x10, 18x9s to get more of a sidewall for traction.

I though about that myself.
Part of the problem with my car with the new rims is...
I just took some more pics, I think the car might need to be lowered.
The 8.5" rims make the front tires taller and the 10" rim make the rear tire shorter, it makes the gap out back look worse.

Agree 100%.

I hope I get used to them

Maybe a red outline around the rim would look good?

I think he is LOVING my old rims, so it might be a fight.

Just a suggestion, have you thought about maybe removing the rocker panel stripe?

Something like this:

In the picture, the front look an inch bigger?? Maybe a staggered look with the back bigger would look better. I like the wheel better than stock though.
