Well, we're hunkering down for 20"+ here in Chicago, and Spring feels a LONG way away.

Mine will be tucked away in the garage, and my Jeep will be doing the heavy lifting the next few days, but I am curious:

What's the most snow anyone has tried (or been stuck) driving their GT500 in?

A GT500 wouldn't make it anywhere unless you had a set of the ugly thin black "steel wheels" and some really badass snow tires. Even then it would suck major balls.

Freak July snowstorm, 0 accumulation, however I was happy to see the snow and not hail.

Boyyyyy, ain't that the truth.

In the summer months we get daily thunderstorms and typically hail storms.

THE last place I want to be in a hail storm is in a car with a ALUMINIUM hood!

There are a LOT of cars out here that look like golf balls and they have STEEL roofs/hoods. It takes a pretty good size hail stone to dent a car with a steel hood/roof but I'll bet it doesn't take much to dent a GT500 hood.

And *I* don't plan to find out!

Nice lift...I've got a four post lift, but never seen one quite like that. Looks mobile?

Nope. Not mobile. Very nice and unique, though.

Reminds me of last year around here. Still got your Christmas decorations up? ;-)
