In case you weren't aware, 5mos /= 1 year.

Also, can you imagine those poor saps that bought BTC at the top of the last cycle on Dec. 18, 2017? Those unlucky SOB's never got their money back...

...err wait..

Imagine buying it cheap and riding it to $63,000 and now wondering....

Hats off to all the guys that made money, because they risked it for the biscuit and won. Is the window still open or closing??????? The drumbeat of nation state inbound regulation is deafening right now.

So you need to cherry pick a certain date to prove your point, like I did?

Yes.
Such as .. if a girl says… “ I’m turning 18 In a year “

I don’t hit her up in 4 months.. trying to hit it……

So yes. If someone says a year.. you don’t just cherry pick a date

So 1 year I would have left a bunch on the table but still be ahead and 4 months I would be crying.

So many variables changing right now, be interesting to see what happens. A lot of political turbulence in the next few months.

The issue is massive inflation. Watch this show. Producer Michael goes to a jewelry store in Beverly Hills and finds out watches that they could not sell for $20,000 a few years ago now sell for over $100,000. The watches are still the same. The dollar is not. People are trying to get into assets as a hedge against inflation. Holding dollars in a bank account is a lose lose situation. You either have to spend it or invest. But just holding is a bad idea.

Wouldn’t hurt you in the least to through 20.00 bucks at coins like this. Say 20.00 a month and forget about them. ;)

Yes that is called dollar cost averaging. I don't think it would hurt. I have been doing this via mining and exchanging an electrical bill with the benefit of heating the house for Ethereum. I have not been mining the past few months due to the warmer weather in Michigan. But I will start it up again as it gets colder.

We do have two mining rigs in one of our businesses that have been mining straight through the summer though. And I have noticed that the Ethereum yield has dropped quite a bit. But not as much as you would think after the EIP 1559 change. It is still profitable at current prices. If Ethereum ever goes to $20k while mining is still possible it would be crazy. However I am guessing difficulty would shoot up a lot as more people try to get into it.

Yup.

Got about a whopping tank of gas worth in it. My new company pays my gas now so I've been throwing what I used to pay for gas into the market, both real and crypto.

I didn't grab Bitcoin when it was tenth of pennies or even Doge at $0.001 bc I couldn't get my account verified back then through pita places like binance or kraken, and hate myself for not getting those back then. Now it's easy peasy.
