Go to Barber Motorsports Park. They have the worlds largest motorcycle museum it's sick. Also Talladega is about 45 min away. They have the Motorsports Hall of Fame museum

I agree, Barber would be a good visit. Also, if you have the time, there is the Talladega Int'l Motorsports Hall of Fame.

In Jan. I wouldn't bother with the Zoo or Gardens.

Stay out of hwy 280 traffic between 4:30-6:15pm.

Also, we have several local restaurants that are quite good.

Depends on what area you're in and what you want.

We have Ruths Chris, as well as some locals.

If you can get into Homewood/Brookwood area on 280 I highly suggest visiting The Daniel George, and/or Davenport's Pizza Palace. They are within a block of each other. DG is rather dress/upscale, Davenports in a pizza joint (really good).

Southside is the general nightlife spot, but its mostly a large bar scene/live music. Venture wisely.

I am in hoover, al (the only nice area in Bham that ive ever seen) its on exit 250 on I-65 (250 = I-459 exit) then go toward Hoover and you will see the galleria mall exit, that can kill some time)

All above are def good.

If you like baseball to any degree, Rickwood Field is in B'ham-oldest ballpark in America.
