The Woman's Club of Birdsboro will host its annual car show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 5 at the Daniel Boone High School.Registration is from 9 a.m. to noon and there will be a cruise through the town of Birdsboro at 1 p.m., said Sherri Riegel, a Woman's Club member.
Riegel said that the cruise will pass through the following streets: Main, Chestnut, Furnace, Jefferson and Hopewell. Birdsboro's fire company will be leading the cruise.
The first 20 people to register their cars will receive a dash plaque.
In addition, the car show will feature a cake walk, Chinese auction, music by DJ Gary and plenty of food including pizza, ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs, baked goods and breakfast items.
A model car contest will be held inside of the high school all day.
People who register their cars for the show will have the opportunity to win money. There will be three $50 drawings for people who preregister and three on the day of the show.
The Miller-Keystone Blood Mobile will be present at the car show.
Proceeds will benefit surrounding non-profit organizations.
