This is done at an agricultural airstrip that the owner rents to a local guy on sundays that organized the racing. Its arm drop racing and no times/clocks. Only two rules are the car must be driven into the track and you must run a DOT tire. Basically street racing but without the legal risk. Just thought I'd share

Just for some added perspective here are some of the mods on the cars I know in the vid

Red Cobra - 2.9 whipple
Silver Cobra - pulley/ported nitrous
Blue Fobdy - 6.0 nitrous
White Chevy work truck - 6.0 turbo
Maroon 5.0 - Procharged
White Foxbody - HCI Nitrous
Srt8 Jeep - cam headers
Black GTO - Bolt ons small cam
Black Nova - 5 sec 1/8 mile car

One of the first things I'd do if I ever won a lottery is build about a two mile stretch of "road" with three lanes and two sides to simulate street racing all without the risk. Small fees and a no responsibility waiver to clear me of anything that could happen.

I'd also build a mile dragstrip!

Cool but too close for anything with any real power IMHO. Hell even the guy doing the arm drop has to watch out if someone gets squirrely coming out of the hole.
