I'm trying to install a new Billetflow supercharger pulley hub onto my Eaton but have ran into a snag.
I have the Billetflow install tool, but it appears the threads are messed up on the blower shaft as I can't get the install tool to thread easily into the shaft.
Any ideas of how I should proceed? I thought about just forcing the install threaded pin into it, but how do even do that when the shaft just spins freely.
Thought about re-tapping with the correct thread size (M8x1.25) but again, how do I do this when the shaft just spins?

Any advice, or ideas I'm all ears! Thanks!

Is there enough shaft to grab with a belt wrench? If you can hold it with a belt wrench I'd run a tap down it with a lot of grease.

Thanks for the idea. Never had heard of a belt wrench. But yeah, I think there's enough shaft for one of those to grab ahold of. Worth a shot, I'll grab one from HF tomorrow.
