Well as the title states, lost to the CBR 600 then raced the a C5 vette non-zo6 and lost also but...the vette got the jump on me and I started to reel him back in through third but shut down because we ran out of room. I'm tuned at 420rwhp and am on 285 nitto nt555 street tires, are the outcomes to be expected or was it me spinning because I spun first and most of second but the vette said he did the same.

Basically if I had better traction would I have won the run against the vette?

Nope, drop in k&n filter, o/r x-pipe, and borla cat-back and it was tuned by Fastlane Motorsports.

You should have ran away from the Vette unless he was modded pretty good.

ditch your stock upper for something a bit smaller (2.8, etc), and you'll have no trouble with that vette at all. its a whole new car, just from the pulley swap. i was shocked/amazed at the power difference!

i agree. a pulley changes everything. with the stock upper your just barely ahead of the vette and have no chance against a bike. so you shouldnt be disappointed right now. thats about average.
