biggest tire size on 18X9 wheels?

id say 295/35, ive seen a 315/30 bfg drag radial on a 9.5" rim and it was too wide, the sides of the tire didnt make contact with the pavement.

I don't think I would go wider than a 285. A 295 bulges a lot on a 9" wide rim. I just am not a fan of that look myself. Like guys stick 315's on a 10" wide rim. I know tons do it and love it but I think it looks like a early 80's camaro with tires way to wide for the little rims.
