Still waiting on the car to get on the dyno.
JPC is at Bradenton, they probably haven't made much progress
The engine has a billet crank in it for that reason so I shouldn't have any problems like that. I'll probably ending going turbo more than likely but I wanted to see what a 4.5 could do on an engine built to take it first.Ike built my 5.4 with a 4.0L whipple and made 1,023 whp on 23lbs boost and e85. Broke my billet oil pump gears like stale crackers. Hopefully your doing more for oil system than the stock housing and billet gears
Also, that blower makes great power but is this a drag car or street car?
That blower is absolutely violent and extremely hard on the motor through vibration- bent my crank shaft snout and my Innovators west Pulley.
Sold that blower faster than I could box it up and turbo ftw!
That's what happened with less than 2k street miles- not to scare you but its reality with that blower. I will however say that the input shaft in my snout was cracked as well. Whipple sent me a new one because they were having a issue with them and had that replaced as well.

Who made the oil pump gears?
That sucks. External pump is really the way to go if you're going to be turning a blower that big though. Not sure how worthwhile MMR's thrust bearing replacement system is but it looks pretty slick and you could run that too.
