Big Front Tire

[Autocross Cobra]

What is the biggest tire that will fit on the front of a stock 03Cobra and what the biggest with a 1" drop? 285? 295?
What is the widest tire that'll fit on a factory wheel? I've seen a 305/40

I got a 2003 Cobra I'm building as a autocross/ track day car, I'd like to go a little wider with the tires but I want to keep a square setup, is there a 285 or 295 size that will fit the front? A fellow racer I know runs 305 square but its a 2015,

I've got 315's on the stock wheels. They are Nitto NT 555R and I think they run a little narrower than the number might suggest but they look good.

As far as widest front tire I commonly see a 275. I don't know if I've seen bigger on the front.
