Big brakes and 03 wheels.....when to...

I have had the Baer T4 big brakes for a year. I was using 93 Cobra wheels and the brakes fit perfectly no spacers need. I bought a set of 17X9 03 deep dish cobra wheels. I tried to fit them before I take them for powdercoating and tire mounting. Run into a little problem. The diameter of the wheels clears the brakes very well. However, the spokes dont clear near the bottom half by i think 1/4 of an inch not sure. I would say not more than 0.5".

Is it ok for me to use spacers?

How do i determine what spacers i need( buy a bunch and try which fit best?)

At what point do I need to use longer studs?

What type of spacers do i need?

i thought the baer 6p rotors fit behind 03 cobra wheels? and if they do, the t4 has the same profile. to see how much of a spacer you need start stacking washers till the wheel clears then measure the stack
also arent 93 cobra wheels 4lug? how are you running them on your car?

People are saying that I should go with hubcentric spacers so that all the weight is not on the studs but on the hubcentric lip.
