i am trying to decide wich way to go. the turbokit is from www.turbochargedpower.com or the vortech with the aftercooler. i like the stealtyness of the turbo, just down know about the heat. what do you guys think.

If you have the money go with the turbo but a vortech would be more budgetable.

no doubt the Vortech will make power, but go for the TT if you have the time, money, and means to not use it as a daily driver while it's getting together...
Turbo would make more midrange tq then the vortech at similar hp level- and theres always that electronic boost control- but the vortech would prolly have more driveabillity- although it really depends on the tune.
Twin turbo would be great if you have the block prepped with forged internals and the heads fitted with stainless steel valves. My feeling is you will grenade your stock long block before you could ever get used to the power of a TT...I say go with the Vortech and have some fun...DA snake boy!!!
