BFG DR's

if heard that the BFG DR's arnt Speed rated? is this true?

i know the tread doesnt last long at all, but i drive on the highway alot and im just making sure im not gonna get a blow out, i know these tires arnt ideal for the driving that i do, but they are for the other type of driving that i do :burnout:

good question. i would have to assume since they are dot approved, you would be fine. furthermore i have never heard of a case where a DR failed for no appearent reason. though that doesnt mean there hasnt been a freak insident here and there.

btw, i am running the 17" BFG DRs

The tire isn't speed rated but like previously said, you'll be fine running these on the street.

I ran mine until I noticed string showing. glad I was close to home. I wish there was a better way of knowing when they need replacing.
