Bf Goodrich G-force 285-40-17??

Ok,
I have done a lot of searching over the past couple of hours and have found many people that like the BFG G-force tires. I have a dd 03 and I need new tires. I want the same on both the front and rear so I can rotate them. I know the 285's will fit. I have also seen posts that say 285 might be fine for the rear but a little much for the front. My question is, are there any real drawbacks with going to 285 (vice the 275 stock) all around. I like the 285's because I think they fill it out a little better. Thanks in advance for the help.

I had a set of those exact tires on my 10th until I bought my SSR GT3's with 18" Michelin PS. I've still got them in my garage, only 5000 miles on them. They were a great combination in my book, I didn't notice too much tracking on the freeways and they were good in the wet and the dry as far as traction goes.
