Hello,

I have the stripes on my fender (sig pic) and they got moldy when I was deployed. I went to remove them and they came off fine up till the moldy part where it looks like it was eaten through and cracked up... I can hardly chip away with my fingernail in some places. I don't want to damage the paint too bad (car isn't perfect) so I was wondering the best way to remove this crud?

In the meat patch
If a heat gun or hair dryer won't loosen it up try a pinstrip eraser by 3m. They are handy as hell to have, if they get hot they won't mess the paint up.

I don't think anything will help... I had to scrape it off like a lottery ticket and my tool got destroyed. I got Sticker lifter from autozone... The paint was fine underneath. It was like the glue protected the paint because I still had to remove that after the vinyl decal.

At the very top it was moldy and you can see paint through some of the vinyl decal like it ate through it.
