Going through The engine on my TT cobra. It's an aluminum block engine, custom cams, ported heads. What are the best timing components to get? I don't want to pull this thing apart again. Obviously all the guides will be replaced along the the tensioners and the flipped passengers side secondary tensioner. What's the best stuff to get? I see mmr makes aluminum chain guides and HD secondary chains. Those worth it? What about adjustable cam gears or billet gears? I don't mind spending money as long as I'm getting the best stuff I can, but at the same time, I don't want to throw my money away on stuff that isn't worth it.
