Best rear diff solution

I went to the track this past weekend on the quest for 9's and unfortunately I am thinking the discs are shot as it was a 1 wheel wonder my first pass out. I am wondering what some of your guys setups are and how you like them.

Has anyone rebuilt theirs with the carbon disc set with any luck or is it best to swap out to a completely different unit like the T2 torsen, auburn, or similar. Of course the rebuild kit is my preference as it is much cheaper, but I don't want to have the same issue come up in the near future.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Go with a tru-trac and don't look back. You'll never have an issue like that again and it will hold up to pretty much anything

A Torsen is not a good choice for drag racing. However it's the absolute BEST choice for a track car or road racing.

......and they never go on sale like this. Or you can have ~3 Detroit True Tracks for the same price which have been working fine on 1k hp applications.
