Some uninsured teen ran into the back of the wife's Escape. Actually ran up under it, which bent the exhaust, which I have bent back, mostly, and boogered up the trim pieces below the sheet metal on the tailgate. All the sheet metal is fine. I am thinking that rather than fooling with waiting two weeks just to get an estimate, and leaving it at a body shop to be repaired, I'll pocket the check (uninsured motorist claim won't affect our premiums) and order the trim to replace myself.
