Had cylinder 3 plug blow out on my daughter's '00 Lightning (60k miles...babied driving since we've owned it at 30k miles). :(

If I end up having to purchase a pass side head, is there a good source out there?

TIA.

Well, the mod motors all use the same head. So any motor that uses Windsor heads will bolt right in.

That said, the head doesn't need replaced. They plugs come out due to improper torque not other issues.

Thanks, Dusten.

She is away at college, so I am not able to do the repair myself... it is at a shop local to her, and the serviceman will use the timesert on it. In talking at length with him, he has done a number of these, and did say only on rare occasions will it not seat and work properly... so I'm just covering my bases here for a worst-case scenario. I'm going to have them replace all the plugs, if for no other reason than to verify the torque specs as you said.
