Belt sleep

Hi guys my friend have 2013 shelby
The car have some mods
Headers x pipe and Idler pulley and small pulley
The prob is he have to much sleep on the belt on high rpm
Any one can help ???

I dunno I don't have any experience on the shelby
But he said on first and second gear he have too much sleep and on 4th he have sleep on 4.500 rpm he should get 20lb and he get 15lb
So what u think ?

The car have headers and x pipe small pulley

Most likely he will need an aux idler and a shorter belt to fit the smaller pulley. Hard to say without detail of the setup (pulley size/belt length).

steeda adjustable tensioner will make it tight
and it wont slip at all

Good thread, i think i got belt slip as well and going to check tensioner and put new pulley on.
