So I bought some new idlers from billetflow. I went to the handy dandy belt guid at CobraBob's web page. For my set-up the guide said I needed a 74.5 to 75 inch belt and gave part number K080745 or K080750. I just a bought K080745. However, the size on the packaging says says 75 1/8. I thought that the last 3 digits idicated size so 750 would be 75 inches 745 would be 74.5 inches?
Frankly, I don't really care as long as it fits, but I am less certain that I got the right size, and I just don't want to take the time to chase down the right belt after installing everything.
I think what is on my car now is K080740 which I thought was 74 inches. I am replacing the bottom three idlers which are 100mm 100mm and 92mm where as the stock idlers were 90mm. I guesstimated that an extra 1/2 inch would be about the right increase in belt size. However, unless my K080740 was actually longer the 74 inches, I think my K080745 maybe too long.
Any guesses?
