Belt noise

So, I took my car out after like 6 months of hibrnation during the winter months. After a few miles my belt started to make noise and now, it is making noise all the time, well, I think it is the belt or an idler. Is it a matter of belt needing to be tightened?

Spray water on the belt if it quits squeeking it's the belt.Get yourself a Dayco Gold Label or Gatorback belt.
