If you are interested in building a high power track car, you will need to work with the shops to match your parts so they work together. For instance... If your cams make peak power at 7500k but you intake only works until 7000k then you are giving up a bunch of power. This way the place cutting your cams can work with Beck to get the proper runner length for you combo. Believe it or not they will even factor in the th400 transmission.

With aftermarket cams, the power band will be shifted up higher. Shorter intake runners that would match the power band created by the cams will cause low-end power to suffer. An auto will help though.

runners are a little over 7 in....this is my street car......Im involed with a x275 car that has been 4.77 @ 155 ...sbf 417 cu neal headed LF 88mm precision
