According to Sean Hyland flow bench numbers the late model 4V heads flow a bit better. Intake 233 cfm intake/169 cfm exhaust at .500" lift. The 2000 Cobra R heads are top dog 268/206.

The same guy who has the fastest car in the world but won't ever race it says this, so I wouldn't worry about him. His "street car" has a chute and wheelie bars

+1

It's true, don't believe it if you want but you couldn't pay me to take my car to BBR. It goes back to a dispute they had with a member on this site, Fourcam. I'm sure he'd love to fill you all in on it.

edit: I just noticed this thread was from '05 and brought up from the dead yesterday, nevertheless, my statement still stands.

BBR, let's not start this shit again. The flow #s posted above are as bogus as their claim of 400rw+ with a stock shortblock 3v NA 4.6--thankfully even Dean has stepped forward and admitted to this.
Do not use SHMs flow #s for comparison, as most shops use 28" of H20, they used 26". At .500" lift a R/GT/GT500 head will flow 310/260cfm @ 28".
A 3v head doesn't have a chance in hell of keeping pace with any 4v head simply because the limiting factor for flow in any small bore engine is valve/seat size. Do the math, the 3v is at a serious disadvantage.
I'm going to see if I can have an admin. link me to the 10 page blasting session that turned into BBRs demise over at the Corral. In it I go into great detail as to why the numbers are bunk and why no one should waste a dime on anything from BBR. Long story short, they are a bunch of lying pieces of shit.

are you retarded ot just ask it here.

seeing how i raced my car just a month ago against another board member here and my 05 ran 10.38 on the stock motor.

im in the process of putting in a built motor and it WILL run 9s and stil be my driver.

my 95 runs a chute BECAUSE THEY ARE REQUIRED saftey item moron i take the wheelie bars off when i use it on the street and it has run 7.99 on street legal drag radials without any wheelie bars
and its still registered inspected and insured and yes i can stil drive it around.
