I just installed bbk equal length headders on my 94 gt, one of the tubes on the new he adder rubs against my steering column which creates a vibration in my steering, how bad is this, and how can I fix it???

Of course it will. Where is it hitting? might be time to replace that old worn out one with a Maximum Motorsports ones. They are smaller and give slightly better clearance. However you will still need to bang a dent into it sounds like. Not a big deal but one of the hassels of not running stock manifolds.

Or, you could just buy new motor mounts. This is a problem with equal length headers; the motor mounts have sagged over time and are allowing your motor so sit a good 3/4"-1" lower then what its supposed to. Install a new set of motor mounts and you'll be golden buddy.

I had to do this on my 91 Gt for the driver side equal length header to fit right. Seems like its just too much work for just equal lengths, but in the end you get new motor mounts and headers.
