Selling my BBK 86mm Mass Air Meter 1999-02 Mustang. I am doing a Tork Tech Swap on my car and no longer need this part. It has approximately 1,200 miles on it and in excellent condition. This is for stock 19lb injectors and Cold Air Intake Calibration. I paid $250.00 for it and asking $185.00 shipped.

If it doesn't sell by Friday Feb-10-2012, I'm just going to put it on Ebay.

BBK Performance Products 8017 - BBK Ford Mustang Mass Air Meters

BBK high-flow Mustang Mass Air Meters are great for upgrading your modified Mustang or for retrofitting an EFI motor into an early muscle car or street rod.

Starting with an all new 356 aluminum casting, each MAF unit is powder coated then fully CNC machined to exact specifications before being fitted with one of BBK's electronically calibrated mass air sensor modules to ensure an accurate air/fuel ratio for the best possible performance potential. Dyno testing has shown up to 15-RWHP gains while maintaining an accurate air/fuel ratio, unlike some competitor's units that are not electronically calibrated that may fail to maintain the all important air/fuel ratio. BBK Ford Mustang Mass Air Meters are Made in the U.S.A.

It is suppose to be a "No-Tune" if you are running a cold air induction.

I ran it for a little while without a tune and didn't have any problems. I finally got a dyno tune after I had the full induction and underdrives on my car.

WIth this unit...plus, BBK 78 mm throttle intake, BBK CAI and BBK underdrives...magnaflow catback. Dyno tune laid down 275 rwhp & 325 rwtq.

Its a good little piece. BTW...everything I listed above except the catback is for sale I just haven't got around to listing any of it or coming up with a price for the other stuff.

not calling you a liar, but did you have anything else done? normally people get those numbers with at least cams done or something done besides full bolt on's. could this work on a JLT RAI or does it specifically need to be a CAI?

No worries, I have had people call it out before but it always turns into one of those things...why would I lie about it. It is what it is kind of thing. So no worries about being skeptical.

I'm not sure if it will work with the JLT. I used it with the BBK CAI because it was a BBK mass air. I figure they tested and programmed the MASS Air using their own CAI system.
