Bassani sizing ?

Recently bought an 04 terminator. Car came with a catted Bassani x pipe and some type of touring Borla exhaust. Looking to swap it out for a Bassani but not sure what the difference is in sizing.
2.5 vs 3” ?? Any difference in sound/ power ? Also if I’m looking to remove the cats , should I order pieces from Bassani or any pipe with clamps will do?

Bassani makes a 2.5" and 3" exhaust. 98% of all cobras are 2.5" exhaust, even the ones pushing major power.

Sound can be done on any diameter, power wise unless you remove the midpipe and possibly the header restriction AND you are over 600hp - not much point to going 3". Unless you have major future plans.

okay cool. I’ll go with the 2.5
And as far as the x pipe I have .. I’m looking to ditch the cats . The car didn’t come with the flow tubes from Bassani , can’t seem to find them online anywhere ?

You need to call bassani for them. Like $80 per side I think
