Basanni X with Flowmaster AT

I have Flows on my cobra and am about to put on a Basanni X pipe with cats. I hear people talk about how an X with flows doesnt sound right. does anyone have this combo so i can see what it sounds like before i install it. A clip would be great. I looked in the exhaust thread and no one there had it. I also checked youtube to no avail.

I have been trying borther. Lol the one I have is so bad, car is so loud it makes the speaker on my phone. Ill send that to you tonight and soon as I get a better one I will be posting it as well

PS... The 96-98 Cobra and 03-04 Mach 1 also have a 4V DOHC V8. I personally have this combo and love it!

I loved my Flows with the stock h, it was pretty good with the Bassani catted x, not so good with the Hooker L/Ts and O/R x. I don't have any clips though. Even with the L/Ts and O/R X it didn't sound terrible. The Bassini x is a great piece and probably one of the biggest seat of teh pants dyno feels of the bolt ons. Get it, you won't be dissapointed.

I have a O/R X with flows and I hate it. it sounds wierd. under lower rpms like between 1800-2400rpms it sounds great. nice deep tone but once it's up top it sounds like doo doo IMO.

That's an O/R X..... a catted X will sound a little less "whappy".

Go with a different X pipe if you don't want that tin can rattle sound. I had this same sound shown in the video with my Bassani O/R X and Bassani catback. I hated it and switched my whole exhaust out. I went with UPR because it has different X design and sounds smoother and deeper.

The flows have the rattle can sound with O/R X while the mac's don't. Flows with a catted x sound great IMO
