Went to the Barret-Jackson Auction today. Managed to snap some cool pics, mostly all stangs. Batteries died before I got to the tent with the Ford GT and Nic Cage's lambo, but all in all it was good.

what is that, one of the original cars from the movie?....

No, the movie was actually a remade body with a V6 under the hood.
This is a company called "Unique Performance" and they make "new" reproduction of the GT500E "Eleanor".

The white convertible one went for $550,800 cha ching!!

Some cars were actually somewhat affordable 8k-50k. That is ofcourse if you just have the money to blow, but you can still own a classic. Too bad I cannot afford the GT500, all of the ones there went for 100k or over...way over. All different engines on each of them. Even saw the one from this issue of MM&FF(the tan interior pic is that one).

The viper seats feel awsome!! The c0ckpit is very ergonomic and comfortable. The clutch is very light, didn't expect that.

Maybe not to you but since howard hughes owned it its worth it to some history buff.

An interesting car none the less.
