I;m installing a new 40 amp bap and have new power wire and fuse holder for power, but not sure if I need relay that comes with a upgrade kit which I didn't buy. I'm wiring it in pre-FPDM and not sure how to do it without relay, any advice or pics will be greatly appreciated. Also my battery is in trunk and won't have to go front for power, I'm thinking I need to hook 40 amp power wire I have to dg/y wire of fpdm harness on harness side ,I have the the non-fused wire of bap hooked to dg/y wire on plug side???
